The LIFE SIRCULAR consortium is pleased to invite stakeholders, companies, researchers, public authorities, and visitors of E-Waste World Expo 2026 to attend the Industrial PV Recycling Project – Kick-Off Event, taking place on 18 June 2026 in Frankfurt, Germany.
The event will focus on one of the key challenges of the clean energy transition: the sustainable management and recycling of end-of-life photovoltaic panels. As PV installations continue to grow across Europe, the recovery of valuable materials such as silicon and silver is becoming increasingly important for circular economy, resource efficiency, and European raw material independence.
LIFE SIRCULAR aims to demonstrate industrial-scale solutions for the recovery of silicon and silver from end-of-life PV panels, combining advanced physical separation and hydrometallurgical processes. The project brings together industrial and academic partners working to support a more sustainable and circular PV value chain.
The event will offer participants the opportunity to:
- discover the LIFE SIRCULAR project and its industrial recycling approach;
- meet the project consortium and invited speakers;
- exchange with European projects and initiatives active in recycling, circular economy, and critical raw materials;
- explore future collaboration opportunities across the PV recycling value chain.
The agenda includes a first session dedicated to the presentation of LIFE SIRCULAR and the role of its partners, followed by a second session focused on exchange and collaboration with other projects and initiatives.
